Self regulating heating cable for process temperature maintenance
    In a centralized hot water supply system,water in distribution pipes may cool down when not used in room. Hot water will not be available until the cold water is drained in the distribution pipes. It takes quite some time for hot water to come if the distribution pipe is too long, affecting comfort and convenience on one hand and causing waste of energy and water resources on the other.     To keep the water hot in the distribution pipes, appropriate heat preservation measure should be in place. Considering the costs of installation and maintenance of heat preservation systems and timeliness of heat preservation, the use of self-regulating heat tracing cable is an ideal choice as it regulates temperature automatically and can be cut in lengths according to specific need. Summary
Self-regulating heating cable is constructed of a semiconductor heater and two parallel bus wires with the addition of insulation layer, The heating elements are parallel to each other and its resistivity has a high Positive Temperature Coefficient "PTC". It has the characteristics of automatically regulating the temperature and output power when heat; It can be sheared to use and overlapped by itself without the problems of overheat and burnout.

Working Principle
In each self regulating heating cable, circuits between the bus wires change with the ambient temperature. As temperature decreases, the resistance decreases which produces more output wattage; Conversely, as temperature increases, resistance increases which lower the output wattage, loop back and forth.
