DHC serial connection constant wattage heat tracing cable

    DHC serial electric heating cable is an electric heat tracing product with a high-resistance wire as the heating element, insulated and enclosed in a protective jacket, which provides corrosive resistance for the heating cable while maintain the maximum flexibility.

    This long line high temperature maintenance series constant Watt heating cable is used where circuit length exceed the limitation of parallel resistance heating cable or self-limiting heat cable. Typically series elements are used on long pipe line process heating, for example long oil pipe lines and ultra long distance single pipe lines on other fields.

    Since the resistance of the wire core per unit length and the passing current are constant, the whole heating cable has uniform heating and constant output power at each ends with no voltage drop.

    Reminded that the serial heating cable should never be overlapped, if not, it will lead up to dangerous burnout and overheat. Unlike self limiting heating cable and parallel heat trace cable, series heat resistance is provided in specific length and can not be shortened in length, a break anywhere along the line will result in a failure of the entire cable.
